The Desires of God (Part 1)

The Will of God has been broken down in theology into various categories including His decreed will and permissive will. However, our 'wills' are an expression of the strength and priority of our desires. God's Will is the expression of His desires which are consistent and in conformity to His being, composition, plan and attributes. Psalm 115 states, 'our God does whatever He pleases.' As believers and disciples of Christ it should be our desire (will) to walk in His steps which He expressed 'My food is to the will (desire) of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.'
