The Devil and Mr. O presents “Live Forever,” episode 13, originally broadcast December 10, 1971. Written, produced, directed, and hosted by Arch Oboler, this philosophical science-fiction drama is a retitling of his earlier story, “The Immortal Gentleman.”A man troubled by his own mortality is suddenly cast into a far-future world where medical science has made eternal life commonplace. In an austere society shaped by immortality, he must confront what living forever could mean for one person—and for humanity.Old Time Horror Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.Chapters:00:00 Victor Sterling Introduction00:41 Original Broadcast28:46 ClosingBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/old-time-horror-radio-old-time-radio--7219126/support.Support Old Time Retro Radio at https://www.patreon.com/oldtimeretroradio
