The Devil’s After Your Praise | Pastor Jason Sharp
from Messages at CalvaryOKC Hosted by CalvaryOKC
What comes out of your mouth when nothing is going right? In Job 1–2, Satan argues that Job only serves God because God has blessed and protected him. Take away what he has, Satan says, and Job will curse God. But when Job’s world falls apart, Job grieves—and worships. In The Devil’s After Your Praise, Pastor Jason Sharp teaches that the enemy’s ultimate goal is not merely to attack what we possess. He wants pressure and adversity to change what comes out of our mouths. Will we praise God only when we feel blessed? Or will we continue to worship when we don’t understand what He has allowed? Job maintained his integrity and refused to turn his mouth against God. The battle isn’t just for your stuff. It’s for your mouth. Keep worshiping. Keep speaking faith. Keep blessing the name of the Lord. Primary Scripture: Job 1–2 Supporting Scripture: Job 42
