The Devil's Backbone (2001)

The guys try hard to stay on track while discussing Guillermo Del Toro's early 2000s horror drama set during the Spanish Civil War. This is a gorgeous film that is much more than a "ghost story", it is stuffed with allegory, metaphors, and a bunch of cultural references (that we don't get) that make it a movie that is so beloved by audiences everywhere. Listen as we unravel the story and also go off the rails completely (per usual). Next week is Rob's pick which means one thing - Vampires! (Hint: its a gory Korean take on the subject). Tune in next week for that episode! Thank youuuuu!
