The Devil’s Rain with Actor/Count Crowley Creator David Dastmalchian
from Scream Addicts Hosted by Jinx Jenkins | Brad Bear
This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx welcomes David Dastmalchian to the show. An actor known for such films as The Dark Knight, Blade Runner 2049, the Ant-Man films, and The Belko Experiment, as well as the creator and writer of the fantastic comic book Count Crowley, Mr. Dastmalchian has chosen Robert Fuest’s 1975 The Devil’s Rain for discussion this week. Mr. Dastmalchian and Jinx discuss the film’s standing as marvelous escapist entertainment for these crazy times, its utterly wonky script and direction, and the unmitigated creepiness of cults. Along the way, we discuss the joys of Shudder and Fangoria, struggling with the post-Coronavirus world, and…Gus Van Sant’s Psycho?! It’s a wonderful chat with a fantastic guest, and it’s one we hope you enjoy. Be sure to subscribe to our show on iTunes, leave feedback, tell your friends about us, and give us a yell on Facebook and Twitter! We are: @Dastmalchian @ScreamAddicts @Jinx1981
