Not one, but two sets of brothers formed a band in Ohio! That should have been the world's first warning that the plot to de-evolve EVERYTHING was hatching right there in Akron. In the pocket with Punk, era-wise, but markedly different from, well...everybody else, their mission required shunning norms! That was likely the case long before they donned their classic Devo yellow jumpsuits and plastic energy domes! Strange, sure! Quirky? They innovated a few of their own! Recently, finally announcing the end of their touring days, the d-volution, or de-volution, is nearly complete... Like the Stones, they never really got "Satisfaction" either. Yet, music has made their lives more awesome, and they freed young minds; both listeners, and budding musicians. We are living in the future, but we are not men, we are still Devo dammit!!!
