The Diaconate
from Truth in Charity Hosted by Catholic Issues
On this episode, Bishop breaks down the role of the deacon. What can they do and not do? And why? Then he gives an update on the diaconate program in our diocese. The show wraps up with these listener-submitted questions: Why are some saints considered mystics? Several times while visiting different parishes recently, I have noticed people talking before Mass - just casual conversation - not really loud but could be easily heard in the next pew. I was always taught to be silent before Mass. Has this changed? What is the difference between proselytizing and evangelizing?
