In March of 2017, Anna, her husband, Alan, and their son were supposed to go on a trip to visit Anna's father for his birthday in Poland. A few days before the trip Anna tells her mom they might change plans to come to Poland for Easter instead, and then suddenly tells her mom, they aren't coming at all. After this, Anna's family and friends never hear from her again. Days go by without word from Anna and only after her coworker reports her missing, is when her husband then does the same.
