This led police to a specific car, with a direct connection to a mob boss. Upon searching the vehicle Hoffa’s scent was identified in the back seat and trunk. Years later hair from the backseat was matched to Hoffa using DNA testing. Hoffa’s disappearance has baffled investigators for decades, leaving little for proof.
