On June 9th, 2013, Maureen Leianuhea Kelly went on a camping trip with her friends in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Before the sun set, she informed her friends she was going to go on a spiritual request, which she had been expressing her desire to do for months. Maureen stripped down and left with only a fanny pack that had a knife, matches, and a compass. After failing to return by midnight, her friends reported her missing.
