Relisha Rudd would disappear from D.C. not in a typical way that 8 year old girls disappear. She would disappear slowly, first from school, and the homeless shelter, then weeks later all CCTV footage of the young girl would cease. It would be at this time that a janitor from the homeless shelter who had formed an inappropriate bond with the young girl would buy trash bags, lime and a shovel. Soon after he purchases these items police would investigate Relisha's disappearance from school, only to be led down a strange path, where the Janitor Khalil Tatum kills his wife Andrea, before later committing suicide, taking his secrets to the grave.
