The disc golf drama DOES NOT STOP.

The 2026 LWS Open at Idlewild is in the books, and there is plenty to talk about. Gannon Buhr takes down the MPO field at one of the toughest courses on the Disc Golf Pro Tour, while Ohn Scoggins continues her incredible run at Idlewild by claiming another FPO victory. But the results are only the beginning of this week’s conversation. Then we get into ANOTHER rules controversy. After all the rules-call drama we’ve already seen this season, this time the controversy involves an official making the wrong call — and the consequences weren’t just a stroke on the scorecard. The call potentially cost a player real money, raising another big question about officiating, accountability, and how rules should be handled at the highest levels of professional disc golf. And the 2027 Disc Golf Pro Tour schedule is HERE.The DGPT has released the 2027 schedule, bringing new cities and some significant changes to the tour structure and season-ending playoff picture. We break down what stands out, what changed, which events we’re excited about, and what the new schedule could mean for professional disc golf. Finally, we get into the newest development from Latitude 64.Latitude 64 has released MAX, a brand-new plastic and molding technology designed around thinner disc lids and increased weight toward the rim. The first disc released using the new technology is the MAX Wild, a Speed 14 distance driver.Latitude 64 claims the new weight distribution produces a stronger gyroscopic effect, allowing the disc to retain spin longer and produce a straighter, more penetrating flight with additional glide and distance potential.Hmmm… Guess Brad and Chad were on to something!THIS WEEK ON COURTESY VIOLATION PODCAST:• 2026 LWS Open at Idlewild results• Gannon Buhr wins at Idlewild• Ohn Scoggins wins FPO at Idlewild• Ohn Scoggins’ continued dominance at Idlewild• More professional disc golf rules controversy• An official makes the wrong call• A rules decision that could cost a player money• Disc golf officiating and accountability• PDGA rules and tournament officials• 2027 Disc Golf Pro Tour schedule• What’s changing on the DGPT in 2027?• New DGPT events and tour stops• DGPT playoffs and the future of professional disc golf• Latitude 64 Max plastic• Gyroscopic disc golf technology• Does plastic really affect gyroscopic stability?• DGPT news, disc golf news and professional disc golf dramaIf you’re a casual disc golfer, hardcore tournament fan, DGPT follower, or just here for the weekly disc golf chaos, you’re in the right place.Subscribe to Courtesy Violation Podcast for weekly disc golf news, tournament results, DGPT coverage, player drama, rules controversies, disc reviews, and everything happening around professional disc golf.#DiscGolf #DGPT #DiscGolfProTour #LWSOpen #Idlewild #GannonBuhr #OhnScoggins #Latitude64 #DiscGolfNews #PDGA #DiscGolfPodcast #ProfessionalDiscGolf
