The Divine Messiah in the Tanakh

The Hebrew Scriptures do prophesy a Messiah who is more than a man. Dr. Brown walks you through Isaiah 52, Isaiah 9, then Psalm 45 and Jeremiah 23, to see how titles like Mighty God and Elohim land on the coming king. You will also see why the Targum, Hezekiah readings, and a long modern Jewish paraphrase strain the grammar, and how the text is fulfilled when God dwells among us in the Messiah. ~~~ FRONTL|NE Newsletter: https://thelineoffire.org/newsletter Donate: https://thelineoffire.org/donate-one-time X: https://twitter.com/DrMichaelLBrown YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LFTV Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmichaelbrown Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ASKDrBrown Website: https://thelineoffire.org Radio Broadcast from The Line of Fire Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
