The Divines and the Decalogue

He also shows how the law of God reflects God's simple and unified character, and how it promises blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. He gives many examples of how breaking or keeping one commandment affects other commandments, and how we cannot separate the law into first and second tables, or into essentials and non-essentials, or into spiritual and temporal aspects. He challenges us to examine our hearts and motives, and to seek to glorify God by keeping his law in spirit and truth.
