The definition of imminent is something that is overhanging that could happen at any time. The Doctrine of Imminence is a major foundational tenet of the pre-trib rapture theory. As pretribers insist, the rapture could happen at any time, with no prophecies requiring fulfillment prior to the rapture occurring. Pretibulationist also insists that no signs were given to the church that must occur prior to the rapture. As pretribulationist admit, if there is something that must happen prior to an event, then that event cannot be imminent.  Historically, imminence finds its roots in how 1st Century Christians believed that the rapture would occur in their lifetime. In this 4th and final episode, we will expose how this doctrine impacts prophetic interpretation, which is also used to religate all end-time prophecy as having no relationship to the rapture.
