On this episode we kick off the pod discussing lobola and the experiences Mo and Thabang had during these negotiations and we look at how the tradition has evolved over time. We move on to discuss the hate and the "Pull em down syndrome" that manifests socially as a result of the accessibility we now have to see how people live and to be privy to each others preferences, the conversation then delves into the emotion of jealousy, and we ponder on how people view and interact with that emotion. The latter part of the Pod the conversation moves to the level of understanding vs level of compromising required to make a relationship work. We round out the Pod discussing the dynamics that may have played out on the viral video of a traffic cop slapping a motorist.
