On this episode of #TheDojo we get things started speaking on what we been up to during the week, with Mo sharing with us his house hunting journey. We delve into the Hoërskool Jan Viljoen racism debacle and we posit, among other things, how this is an outcome of a lack of leadership from our government in tackling issues of race. We move on to discuss the recently released crime stats, we ponder on a few of the figures, including, the crimes of murder, rape and GBH and attempt to weigh the reality of what the figures present vs perceptions and narratives created around crimes that affect certain groups in our society, mainly women and white people.
