On this episode of #TheDojo we kick things off expressing our shock at the passing of rapper Ricky Rick, Amigo joins us to share his thoughts on what Ricky meant for culture and the youth in particular. We share our theories as to why the youth of today are referred to as the "sad generation". We remember Thabile Mpe, who once was a guest on S01E05 of #TheDojo, whose passing was also recently announced. We are then joined by DJ, Music and TV producer Lemonka who shares his experiences having lost a close friend to suicide in the late great HHP. We have a conversation around fame, social media and its effects on the mental health of celebrities. We lament how the South African entertainment industry and Dept of Arts and Culture is not doing enough to support entertainers to better deal with what comes with the industry. We round off the pod with our final guest Boitumelo Gaetsewe, host of "The royal corner", with a conversation around the importance of therapy and ensuring we all take care of our mental health.
