You're listening to the Miracle Word Podcast. We believe that the Word of God gives you the power to experience never-ending increase in every area. If you're ready for revelation that will take you to the next level, you're in the right place. Here's your host, evangelist, author, and founder of Miracle Word University, Ted Shuttlesworth, Jr.
I'm gonna share with you in this broadcast this morning the biblical door to unlimited returns. The biblical door to unlimited returns. One of the things that I think most people don't realize is that the things God wants to do for you are not just once or twice throughout your life. Sometimes people act like, when God blesses you, it's like, well, this is like one of those times in my life that I feel like I'm gonna receive the blessing of the Lord or you're really blessed if two or three times in your life God's God comes through for you.
Or as one pastor, I heard say, nine times out of 10, he comes through every time. That's not what we're talking about. God's plan for your life is unlimited return, unlimited interaction with heaven's power, unlimited interaction with God's hand of provision. And what I'm gonna cover in this broadcast today is something that keeps that door open.
It keeps that door open. It shouldn't be a stop and start process where you experience, you may have heard me say this multiple times on this broadcast or at church or in a revival. We don't believe in roller coaster Christianity. And by that I mean, you go up, you go down, you're upside down, you know, whatever.
We believe in never ending increase that the Bible tells us that the path of the just is a shining light that shines brighter and brighter until perfect day. That's Proverbs 4 18. And so the door of God's blessing should be and can be always open to your life, always open to your life. And that's what I wanna cover today with one specific thing, one specific thing found in scripture that keeps that door open to your life.
And so I'll have you take some notes and I'm gonna show you some things today. I've been so happy this year. You know, if you were with us in the fall of last year, I started to prophesy that there's gonna be a storm. There's a storm coming.
I kept coming up out of my spirit. There's a storm coming. There's a storm coming. And that this year was gonna be a year where the storms of God's favor, blessing, would be on this nation.
You'd see it and man, we've seen it. And then in June, when I was in Texas, the Lord spoke to me, get ready for six months of thunder and took me to Exodus 19, Psalm 817, where Moses was speaking and then God answered him in thunder, the ESV says. Psalm 811 tells us that God says, you cried out to me in distress and I answered you from the secret place of thunder. And so the Lord was telling us, get ready for thunderous answers to prayers in these last six months of the year.
And it's even been amazing to me to see this year how people are coming to Christ. Even influential people, well-known people, are having encounters with God and with Christ. We've covered it multiple times, but to go to see people who were agnostic or atheist or had no interest in religion coming to Christ, you see people like Russell Brand, the comedian and actor who was not only saved, baptized, and now living his life for Christ. You see people like Joe Rogan, who has made a total 180 who also agnostic, you know, atheist, and started to have more and more people on his podcast, talking to him about Jesus, talking to him about the Bible, and has made a total 180.
Now attending church, reading the Bible, and there's different athletes now that are coming out publicly, talking about their faith and it's mind blowing. But this caught me by surprise, this caught me by surprise last week, because I thought this would be like the last person that you would think would send messages and tweets like this, but it's also encouraging to see, but I was scrolling through X last week and started seeing these messages pop up and throw these up, this kind of blew my mind. Nicki Minaj, you have grieved the Holy Spirit. Stop this now, free Christians everywhere.
I was like, what, Nicki Minaj is tweeting, you've grieved the Holy Spirit, like blew my mind. And then let me see the next one. On Christ, the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand. Free the Christians in Nigeria, stop this now.
Nicki Minaj singing through text on Christ the solid rock I stand. Never thought I'd see this. And then I think there was one more where she's got scripture now in quotes. Thus say it the Lord, and now she's quoting from Matthew.
Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit with a corrupt tree with forth evil fruit. And she's quoting, posting scripture on her X account. I'm like sitting there blown away. And I was like, what's going on?
And so there are things happening that many people thought would never happen. You know, that's part of what we've been talking about is, you know, as I was talking about this, I said, listen, you're gonna see things happen that nobody ever expected to see. Things that no eyes seen, no ears heard, no heart has imagined. Those are the kinds of things that we're believing God for.
Why would we talk about an unlimited God and then limit him with small expectations? That's a great question right there. Why would we talk about an unlimited God? And we know from his word, the Bible says in Ephesians chapter three, in verse 20, now unto him who is able to do exceeding abundantly and above all that we can ask or think according to the power that works in us.
So why would we have an unlimited God? His word describes him as unlimited and able to exceed our expectations and then limit him with small expectations. God meets us at our point of faith. God meets us at our point of faith.
In fact, make it personal, put it in the comments today. God meets me at my point of faith. Welcome from Zimbabwe. God meets me at my point of faith.
I don't wanna limit God with small expectations of what he can do and what he will do. I wanna ask bigger, expect bigger because I said this yesterday at church, what seems big to us is very small to God. What seems big in our mind, it's very small to God. He's unlimited.
And sometimes we judge what God's able to do by what seems big in our mind, but he's unlimited. So don't judge God by what's big in your mind, recognize, realize, and I know we know this, we say it. He's able to do the impossible, he's a miracle worker and all those things. But then we have to follow through with my actions and my mindset has to be, God is my unlimited provider.
He's unlimited, he meets me at my point of faith. I often think about how the prophet Elisha was at the woman's house whose two sons were gonna be taken into slavery because her husband died and she was in debt, couldn't pay the debt. And the Bible says that Elisha gave her a prophetic instruction. Go and borrow vessels, not a few.
Go borrow vessels, not a few. And they went and got as many vessels as they could from their neighbors and came back. And Elisha told him close the door and then he started pouring the oil that they had into the vessels and every single vessel filled up to the top with the oil until there were no more vessels left, the Bible says. And when there were no more vessels left, what happened?
The oil stopped. Now I wanna read that to you very quickly because this is really amazing. Second Kings four and verse five, the Bible says, so she went from him and shut the door behind herself and her sons. And as she poured, they brought the vessels to her.
Now think of this, when the vessels were full, she said to her son, bring me another vessel. And he said to her, there are no more. There is not another. Then the oil stopped flowing.
That's, I don't know if you've ever thought of this way. If they'd had more vessels, the oil would have kept flowing. Notice it flowed supernaturally until there were no more vessels to hold it and then it stopped flowing. So I've always said it this way.
If they had collected more vessels, God would have filled those two. Think of that. If they had collected more vessels, God would have filled those two. If they had collected less vessels, God would have filled all those until they were all full.
So your vessel represents your expectation. Your vessel represents your expectation. I see Frank in the comments, just got your books on biblical fasting, getting our church and main ready for January, January 5th through the 25th, we're going to be fasting and praying. Now there's a reason I'm bringing this up.
This is part of our expectation. And if you didn't know and I want you to join us, January the 5th, we're beginning through the 25th. This is our 2026, 21-day fast. And some people might ask, why are you starting so late?
Why aren't you starting on the first? It's because we want to end on a Sunday where we're all together in church and I'm sure you'll be with your church family. And then of course we'll be breaking the fast afterwards, but the 25th is a Sunday, the first Sunday we could end on. So January 5th through the 25th and it's going to be a great fast, but it's part of our expectation.
As Sarah said, do I order the books on fasting? Yeah, I would recommend that you do. They'll help you a lot. If you go to Amazon or our website, shop.miracleword.com, we have both in fact, I believe we have a bundle on our website for both books that you can get at a discount or something like that if you get both of them in the bundle.
But it's the 21-day fast field guide and then it's the complete guide to biblical fasting. Those will help you a lot. And also on top of that, we have a fasting starter kit that we make available for everybody that's jumping in to the fast with us. And so for 2026, same thing, if you'd like to get that stuff, miracleword.com forward slash fast.
Forward slash fast. And this is part of your expectation. It's part of your expectation. When you fast and pray, it shows God, I have great expectation for what you're gonna do.
I have great expectation. Someone in Zimbabwe said they can't download the No More Lack book. We'll get you a copy of it digitally. Yeah, if you email Tiffany at miracleword.com, we'll get you a copy.
But this represents your expectation. The point I'm making here is that everything we do in faith should be a representation of our personal expectation for God's goodness. And so if they had more vessels, God would have filled more vessels. No question about it.
And so the limit, now watch this. This is so important to get this. The limitation on what God can do in your life is your personal expectation level. I'm gonna say that again.
It's worth writing in your notes. It's worth writing in the comments. The limitation of what God can do in your life is your personal expectation. It's your faith.
God can do anything, but what can you believe in for? God can do anything. What can you believe in for? Amen.
Morning Corinne. God can do anything. What can you believe in for? So the only limitation is my personal expectation.
God can do what we believe him to do easily. You know, that's why I've told you before, I stopped saying when I was young, I used to say, and because we've heard it so much. There's nothing too hard for God. I don't even say that anymore.
The Holy Spirit convicted me on saying that because when you say too hard, that is verbiage that denotes levels of difficulty. There's nothing too hard. So what we're saying is there are some things harder than others for God, but nothing's too hard. He can do anything.
Some things are harder than others, but nothing's too hard. No, the Lord checked me on that and said, no, nothing's hard for me. Everything's easy. So I switched from saying, nothing's too hard for God, to saying everything's easy for the God we serve.
Everything is easy for the God we serve. Good morning, Jeff. Everything's easy. That's something to be great to say every day.
Keep it in front of your face. Write it in the comments. Put it in your notes. Everything's easy for the God we serve.
Everything. Everything. And so my only limitation to what I can receive from the Lord is my personal expectation. That's why I'm encouraging you, even before we get into 2026.
You know, we've still got what? 16 days of December left. 16 days of December. Six months of thunder.
We're not done with that yet. What can God do in 16 days? How much can the Lord do in 16 days? Amazing things.
He can do amazing things. And so set your faith. Everything's easy for the God we serve. No question about it.
There's no question about it. This is the door now to unlimited returns, door to unlimited returns. I'm in 1 Thessalonians 5. And Paul is wrapping up this letter with his final instructions to the church.
And if you drop down to verse 16, Paul writes, rejoice always, rejoice always. Welcome everybody that's jumping on. Please share the broadcast this morning. Get this now.
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Do not quench the Holy Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything, hold fast what is good, abstain from every form of evil. So look at this now. Rejoice always.
There it is. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
So this open door to unlimited returns is provoked. It's provoked by rejoicing prayer and giving thanks. Rejoicing prayer, giving thanks. Rejoicing is your form of praise to God.
And thanksgiving. You know, I really wanna hit this Thanksgiving because it's interesting to me in the scripture that Jesus did certain things because of people's faith, but then did more because of people's thanksgiving. Faith, Jesus meets your point of faith. We just talked about that.
But thanksgiving, it ends up with a whole different answer than simply just faith. We see this in Luke 17. I want you to see it with me. Luke 17, 11, on the way to Jerusalem, he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.
And as he entered a village, he was met by 10 lepers who stood at a distance, lifted up their voices saying, Jesus, master have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said to them, go and show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed. Okay, so their faith in Christ cleansed their leprosy.
All they had to do was go show themselves to the priest so that he could declare them clean. So that was their faith. Verse 15, then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back praising God with a loud voice. And he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks.
Giving him thanks. This is Luke 17, 16. Now he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus answered, we're not 10 cleansed, we're the nine.
Was no one found to return and give praise to God, except this foreigner? And he said to him, rise and go your way for your faith has made you whole. Your faith has made you whole. So what does it mean to be made whole?
Think about that. Because this is an interesting point. This is not just something I'm making up or something that I'm noticing and some kind of a fringe thing. I've read scholars commentary on this and even non-penny coastal scholars agree that this man received a subsequent blessing from God.
Something that the other nine did not receive. This man did receive. So what does it mean to be whole? Because the Bible's clear that the 10 were already cleansed.
So their leprosy was already gone. So what did this man receive? To be whole, leprosy being a flesh eating disease. Is it possible?
We know, you can even still today, you can see in certain nations, leprosy has eaten people's flesh away. People have lost fingers and toes and ears, their nose. It'll eat body parts away. Is it possible that these men had also lost things?
And that when Jesus said, now you rise and go your way, your faith has made you whole. He was already cleansed of leprosy before he came back to give thanks. That's why he was coming back to give thanks. But he received something extra because of his thanksgiving and his praise.
Jesus said, you can just go your way. Your faith has made you whole. Is it possible that this man in this moment because of his thanksgiving was restored back to his original form? If he lost fingers, did the fingers come back?
Toes come back, ears come back. The Bible doesn't tell us exactly what happened, but it's pretty hard to be whole if you're not whole. It's pretty hard to be whole if you're not whole. And so here's a man that, again, as I said, this isn't just something that I'm noticing in scripture.
This is something that non-penny gospel scholars even have written commentary on. This man received a subsequent blessing that the other nine did not receive. How did he open that door through thanksgiving? Through praise, through thanksgiving and through praise.
Very powerful. There are things that we can do that are pictures of our expectation, pictures of our faith. One of those things is thanksgiving. One of those things is praise.
One of those things is prayer. One of those things is fasting. When we take these actions, they are practical proof of our expectation of what God is able to do, we know he can, so we're acting like he can. Hallelujah, we know he can, so we're acting like he can.
Thank you, Jesus. We know what he's able to do, so we're acting like we know what he's able to do. And then here's what's wild. It's like a, you know, think of it this way.
If you've ever seen the repeat sign, you know, maybe it's in your application, and it's in a square where you have an arrow going this way, line goes down, back this way, and then an arrow facing that way. And then up, and it just looks like a circle with two arrows on top and bottom, the repeat sign. It's in your, you know, they have it in your, whatever app you stream music in. But think about that sign, arrow going this way, and then it goes down, arrow going this way, and then it goes up.
That's exactly what this is like, because think of it like this. God blesses you, that's the arrow going this way. God blesses you, and then it comes down here. You start thanking and praising him, which leads back up to him blessing you, which leads back down to you praising and thanking him, which leads back to him blessing you.
Yeah, somebody put it in the comments. There it is, the loop button, the repeat button. So what am I saying? If you look at that logo, it's that's exactly how it works.
God blesses you, which leads to you, thanksgiving and praise, which then provokes God to bless you again, which then provokes more, thanksgiving and praise, which then provokes God to bless you again. And it's a cycle, it never stops. It never stops. Have you ever thought, you know, when you did something for somebody, I don't care if it was as simple as opening the door for somebody, and they didn't even bother to say thank you.
You ever had that happen? Maybe you paid for somebody's meal, bought them a gift, whatever it might be, and they didn't even bother to say thank you. You know what that makes you feel like right in your flesh, like I don't ever wanna do anything for that person again. Ungrateful bum, it upsets you.
Why would they didn't even say thank you? I don't even thank you, card, I don't need flowers. I just want somebody to say thank you. I just wanted someone to say thank you.
And when someone doesn't say thank you, they're ungrateful. How does that make you feel? You know, like I never wanna do that for somebody again, for that person. They don't care, they're ungrateful.
Doesn't mean anything to them. But then how do you feel when you do something for someone, and they are effusively grateful, over the top thankful, over the top thankful, makes you wanna bless them again and again and again and again. Man, they really appreciated that. I'd like to do more for them.
That's how I feel anyway. I don't know if you've ever been there, but when somebody's effusively thankful, then I wanna do, if they thought that was good, I wanna do something else for them. They really appreciated that. And there's a joy in giving, especially when people are grateful to receive.
Oh yeah, it does, Kren said it feels amazing. It does, it does, good morning Margaret. You wanna bless them more, that's exactly right. And that's how God is.
He loves thankfulness. He loves praise. He loves it when we give him the credit. He's the only one worthy of the glory, the honor.
He's the only one worthy of praise, because he's the only one that can do the things we're talking about. It's a dangerous thing for people to take God's glory or his praise for what he's doing. I can tell you very plainly, and I've said it often, and I'll continue to say it often. Anything good that the Lord has allowed me or this ministry to ever produce, it comes from him.
It hasn't enough to do how great I am or any of that. It's not based on a personality or, you know, my skill level, I don't have a skill level. I have a high school diploma. I went to Bible school, but it wasn't accredited.
And so I have a high school diploma that is accredited. I have a Bible school diploma that I don't think I can transfer anywhere, but it's not because of me, my education level, my anything, it has to do with God. It has to do with his goodness. The only reason for it is because of his, it's because of his goodness.
It's because of his power. It's because of his greatness. And so you can't take the credit for God's greatness. You can't take the credit for God's goodness.
All you can do is give him thanks and praise. In fact, the more you see God do, the more thankful you have to be. The more you see God do, the more thankful you have to be. Because you start to realize it humbles you, actually, to see God's goodness at work.
It humbles you totally. When you realize I couldn't have done this, nobody else that I know that I have connections with could have done this. This is all God. This is all God, the impossible.
It's God. And so all we can do is laugh and thank God and give him praise, give him glory. And that's the most wonderful place to be. And Paul says, that's why I started with that.
Paul says that we should be in that state all the time. That's what he wrote to the Thessalonians. That was not just a small little, that was a command from the Apostle Paul, a command. He said, I'll pop it up one more time.
This is 1 Thessalonians again, chapter five, rejoice always, rejoice always, pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. All circumstances. Well, I don't feel like giving God thanks and praise right now.
Doesn't matter. This is a circumstance, giving thanks and praise. It provokes God to blessing. God inhabits the praises of Israel, lives in them, dwells in them.
We can never thank him enough ever. And if you missed it yesterday, I just wanna share this quickly before I go further, because we wanted to take time, and we're gonna take more time to talk about what God has done. But it's good to hear what God is doing for others. And I wanted to share this clip from yesterday with you, because I love when things happen that are just, they don't make sense.
They don't make sense. And I had two different people give testimonies yesterday at Miracord Church, because I want us to be encouraged by what God's doing. And there's more that we haven't even shared yet at the church that I wanna share. We're gonna do that in the upcoming weeks.
But this was from yesterday. And the reason I wanted to share it with you is because it's wild to see that when you seek the kingdom of God first, you're doing what God's called you to do. All the other things are simply added to your life. All the other things are added unto you.
Check this out. Yeah, so I think it was a couple months ago, we had outreach in West Palm. And at same day, after the outreach, we had like 70 people come to the Lord. It was amazing.
And after the outreach, we went to the youth soul winning. It was in like, what was it, Garden's Mall? Yeah, it was at Garden's Mall. And while we were there, it was really interesting, because the mall wasn't really jumping.
There wasn't like a lot of people there. It was later in the day. And me and Lucas were walking together. And we found this guy who was sitting there on it.
And he looked kind of, no, you can see pieces sometimes. And when we saw him, we just went up to him. And we went to go pray for him. Oh, what's this?
What's that over here? I guess. But we walked over to him and we went to pray for him. And I said, hey, man, on a scale of one to 10, where do you feel like you're out?
Day. And he told me I'm out of 10. But he told me I'm a very spiritual person. And one thing that I've heard a lot in evangelism is people think that you can be spiritual, but not have Jesus.
And there's no such thing as any power higher than the name of Jesus. And so what I told him in that moment, because a lot of people in that moment, they start speaking in speed tongues and like rebuking the guy. But I told him, look, I said, look, I hear that you're out of 10. I want to let you know this.
I had an encounter with Jesus in my bedroom. I don't believe in spirituality. I believe in Jesus. There's only one God that I live to serve.
And it's Jesus. And so I told him, I said, hey, if I could pray for you, that you would have a similar encounter to what I had, would you be open to it? That God would encounter you in a way that you couldn't shake. And I said, hey, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.
But obviously, I know that it'll work. Because there's no prep that isn't powerful. Any prayer that I get to God in faith is powerful. So I told him, I said, hey, let me just pray for you.
And so me and Lucas, we lay hands on him, we prayed for him. And I was like, I didn't say the sin is prayer. I just prayed that God would encounter him like you encountered me. And see, that day at the moment, we only have one person between me and Lucas prayed the sin is prayer.
So you might walk away thinking nothing happened. You might walk away feeling like you didn't do enough. But at the end of the day, whatever we do for God, the Bible's never done in vain. It is never done in vain.
So I prayed for God's information. And we kind of walked away. And so now my wife can finish the story. OK, so then, hey guys.
So then it's like the guy's birthday. And so over to me had his Instagram. So he was like, yo bro, happy birthday blessings. This was like two weeks after we met him.
And the guy goes, bro, you have no idea. Ever since you prayed for me, I've gotten a promotion, my job. And so many great things have happened in my life, bro. Thank you so much for your prayer.
And you know, someone that just doesn't believe in Jesus right away, they're not just going to say that to say that. Something really happened. So we were like, well, that's amazing. So we found out that he's a stylist for Chanel, which we didn't know.
We were just walking the mall walking past him. He's like, yo, I have some clothes that I want to. You know, I'm cleaning out my closet. I would love to give you some help you clean up your image.
He saw my Instagram. So look, he added me on Instagram and looked at my page. And he goes, look, I want to give you some better clothes for when you're preaching. I'm like, dog.
He said he wants to help my image. Now, my dude, OK, oh, no, y'all laughing. He's a stylist for Chanel. OK, I'm Rotimi Flavini from Roswell, Georgia.
OK, I was eaten anyways. You know what I'm saying? That doesn't even sound like a real name. That's a real name.
Exactly. It's a real name. That sounds like something in the witness protection program, David. This is Rotimi Flavini.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, they said my mom was halfway when she was going out on the paperwork. OK.
But yeah, I grew up. I grew up very middle class. It was never like a point in my life where I really cared about having clothes because I had an African mom that would be like, what do you need these clothes for? Hey, all this to study?
So I had to have the ball of hair cut, like every African kid in the world. So anyhow, about nice clothing, even though she tried. But still, I'm the same way. I've never bought designer clothing for myself because I never had to.
I never had a reason to. So anyway, he reaches out and he goes, hey, man, I see the true preacher. I need you to have better clothes while you preach. Your image is important.
Mind you, this is not somebody who's full blown phone when she said your image is important because man looks at the outer appearance. And God looks at the heart. So if man looks at the outer appearance when they see us, we better not look shabby. We better not look po.
No, we better look like people who serve Jesus because we serve a very big God. OK? All right, he pays back over to my wife. Got a time limit here.
Go ahead. So then he reaches out to us yesterday. And he's like, hey, bro, I have some time. Do you think you can meet up?
He goes all the way in Palm Beach. We live more down south. So we meet right here. He's like, meet me in the church.
Why this is what I have church. Trying to get him introduced to the area. This is where we have church. Come here.
So he comes here. He gives us three trash bags of clothes. First of all, he's a fancy trash bag. That's the first sign.
Let's start there. Try to see. I'm buying no sense now. I'm going to Costco.
All right? So then, I'm like, you know, beautiful things come around in different type of packages. But I don't think it will. And I have no idea what's about to be in here.
But then we open the bags. Can we just say variety pack? Variety pack. Variety pack.
I'm talking Versace, Versace, Versace, Fendi, Prada, Sailor Ron, Sailor Ron, Louis Vuitton. I'm talking about Amiri. I'm talking about my blog, Christian New York. What?
We open up these bags and my jaw dropped. I was like, ain't no way. So I don't want, you know, chaggy petites. Be like this me and chat.
So I pull up chat and I take a picture of everything and I'm like, yo, chat. How much is this? And so it told me on a low end estimate. And I want to read the plain truth.
You're looking at nearly $20,000 of designer retail across this pile. Even after resale depreciation, this is a very strong collection carrying heavy original price tags. It's so amazing. What?
Yeah. So people will say, why do preachers need to wear expensive clothing? The Bible says how beautiful are the feet of those that share the good news. So if my feet look good, best believe the head down is going to look even better.
The God will trust you all for doing the work of God. He's not going to have you looking shabby. He's going to put you in a five minute. I'm going to believe for six more months.
Six more months. We got 17 days to the end of December. I want you to believe for thunder. Thunder.
Thunder. Thunder. So yeah, and I want to just say this about a month ago, I was walking in the mall with my wife and I've never walked into like Neiman Marcus or his sax fifth. But I said to myself, you know what?
You walk inside there. What does it feel like? I walk in the lady star. Nice, too.
She starts spraying like cologne. I got the bond number nine on my body. I'm feeling good, feeling blessed. Ain't no knock off.
No time out. So she starts spraying a cologne on me. I'm going to say let me go see the Jews. I'm looking at the price tags on face because if I don't get used to seeing what God can give me, I can't, I start pricing myself out.
Let me never price myself out of what God can give me because you saw there 15, 16, 17, 17 thousand dollars worth of clothes. I did not have to buy. God brought it to my door. God brought it right to the house of worship.
I brought it to the place that I've been seeking him first. So if you seek first the kingdom, that's for me. Oh, these things will be added unto you. Come on.
Come on. Hey. Come on. Man, I'm telling you.
See, you can't make this stuff up. God just keeps blessing his people. You know, you can't force these things to happen, but when you're just doing what the Lord has to do, blessings chase you down. Blessings overtake you.
Amen. I want to give you one more because this is Sturmese up. Miss Jester, you come share this. I want Miss Jesper to share this.
This is, it's amazing. It's amazing what the Lord is doing. It's just. Wow.
That's a tough act to follow. Thank you so much for that. Sorry. I work in finance.
I'm not a preacher. So I'm sharing a testimony by proxy for my husband back there in the corner. So earlier this year, he asked for a very small raise, like $5,000 or $6,000. It's fine.
We'll send it to HR. A few weeks later, Bishop Rick was here and prayed over. He told me you're asking for too little. Had no idea that it happened.
No idea. Early summer, still hadn't happened. He kept saying, Hey, it's with HR. Jared finds out.
Sorry. He finds out. He's not saying that it's with HR. Boss never put it in.
He actually found out he's supposed to get a bonus on top of that. Boss never put it in. Jared said I really felt not to say a word about it. So he got a sticky note out, wrote some very specific things, some issues with his job, put it in his Bible that's on his desk and said, Lord, share his deal with.
So then what was it? Just so a couple of weeks ago, four weeks ago, he's at work on a Friday afternoon, higher up, stick your head in his office and said, Hey, don't leave. I need to talk to you. A few months later, they come back.
They walked out multiple people including his boss. Put him in an interim role, got a bonus right away. Yeah. Yeah.
And listen, listen, in one moment, in one moment, every single very specific thing on that sticky note was resolved. One moment. Yeah. So just this week on Wednesday, I think it was December 11th, he was almost over.
He's officially put in the role of his boss's role with a much, much larger raise. I mean, I'm not. It wasn't like triple quadruple. It was significant, higher raise, significant.
So Pastor Sheryl wants me to share as well. I mean, our family's been so blessed this last couple of months. I had actually, for the second time since I lived in South Florida, I had gotten a message on LinkedIn from someone I worked with a decade ago. Like, Hey, I have a role for you.
It's a promotion. It was from a manager to a director role in the hospital finance for a very large university health system in Virginia. It's a little bit of an increase in income for me, but my bonus structure went from 10 grand a year to $40,000 a year since. Since we've been in South Florida, our income has increased six figures.
He's got it. I love it. You know, one of the things, and you can see our church is everybody's getting happy and rejoicing. And one of the lessons that you learn, even through all that is if you can get excited about somebody else getting blessed, God can bless you.
You know, one of the reasons that we want to get excited about somebody else getting blessed is because the alternative is getting upset that somebody else got blessed and not you or getting greedy or, you know, covetous or whatever it is that, you know, why God, why come that wasn't me? You know, I've been praying to you. I've been so into. And here's the thing is you've got to train yourself to celebrate other people's victories.
Train yourself to celebrate other people's blessings and their increase because if you can celebrate someone else's, God can give you your own. You know, one of the tricks of the enemy is what I was just talking about, getting you into a church where you see other people getting blessed and you get upset about it. You know, you get, I should have been mine. You know, I've been so into, I've been believing to.
And no, no, no, praise God with others. Praise God when other people are getting blessed, like it was your own mind to Brittany. I love it. She said one of my favorite things about church is testimony is being shared.
I totally agree. And the thing is we ought to just have a whole testimony service because we've got more testimonies that have come in. I was just talking about what we were watching that clip. We've got other people that God's doing amazing things for them and through them.
And we're going to share it because when God does these things, you know, it's our responsibility to give him thanks, to give him praise, to give him glory and to do it as publicly as possible. I mean, as in front of as many people as we can because he deserves all of it. But when people are getting blessed, train yourself early to say, you know what? When I hear a testimony, I'm going to praise God like it was my own testimony.
To me, that is one of the signs of a mature Christian. Listen, I want to hear him. Kyle Brittany, I want to hear the testimony. I want to hear the testimony.
I want to give people opportunity because we've got so many people in the church since we've declared this what the Lord said. You know what the Lord said, six months of thunder. We've had thunderous testimonies taking place. And so we train ourselves early.
That's the sign of a mature Christian that they can hear somebody else's testimony and then praise God like it's their own personal testimony. Because if you think of it this way, we also are in unity in the body of Christ. We're in unity. Total unity.
You're my brother. You're my sister. And why would I not get just as excited? You're a part of my family.
I'm a part of your family. Why would I not get just as excited? Right? When I see you getting blessed as when I get blessed.
You're my family. You're my we're in covenant relationship. And to be honest with you, as a minister of the gospel, as a pastor, evangelist, when I see people, especially people in miracle or church, people that are part of the victory tribe, people that are connected to miracle word, when I see them getting blessed, I get so happy. I can't even tell you, I get so happy because this is what we're all believing for.
I rejoice. I get happy just as much as you're getting happy. Because this is what I've been praying for. This is what I've been believing for.
You know, I want your business to succeed on another level. I want your ministry to succeed on another level. I'm not ever going to be one of those people that's like sees other people around me, you know, that are getting blessed or seeing increase. And we get upset about it because there's people that this is sad, but it's true.
I'll share with you. I know you know it. There are people that don't want others around them getting blessed because it steals their spotlight. That's a real thing.
That's a real thing. They don't want others to get upset. That's a real thing. They don't want others around them getting blessed because it steals their spotlight.
I want the spotlight on other people. I want the spotlight on other people. I want other people getting blessed. I want other people getting increase.
I told the Lord, you know, I didn't come up with this, by the way. I heard this from Bishop David Oyadepoh in Nigeria. And I was like, wow, that is so good that I want to adopt it for my own. It was so good.
And he was praying one time. And he said, Lord, if you won't bless my people, don't bless me. That's how he's covenant with his people that he is. Think about what he just said.
Lord, if you won't bless my people, don't bless me. If you won't bless my people, don't bless me. It's not a one man show. Some people think it's not a one man show.
I love that the heart of what he's saying. If you won't bless my people, don't bless me. Now, there are some people obviously that are not in position for blessing. And so I get that.
There's some people they refuse to pray. They refuse to rejoice. They refuse to give. They refuse to work.
How can you expect to be blessed? God blesses the work of your hands. So there's some people they don't work. They don't pray.
They don't praise. They don't give thanks. And so I'm not talking about those that aren't doing what the Bible says because God can't bless them. But he's talking about the people that are doing what the Bible says to do.
He said, Lord, I'm not just asking bless me, bless my people. And if you won't bless them, don't bless me. He said, that's how in covenant we are. That's how in covenant we are.
Right? Amazing. I'm not going to be my people getting blessed. My family getting blessed.
Miracle Word family because I've been praying for you. You know, one of the things that people don't understand about partnership is that partnership is, as the term suggests, a two-way street. It's not a one-way street. You know, that's what I don't know how you've heard it taught or who you've heard talk about it.
But when you understand partnership is a two-way street, you know, if you think of it in a business sense when someone goes into partnership in a business, both people have responsibility and they both have investment in that business. The same is true in godly partnership. One of the things that we try to get our people to understand and get our, the victory time to understand is when you are partnered with this ministry, you are a part of something bigger than yourself. I'm a part of something bigger than myself.
You know, when we step into this together, then we are doing something for the Lord on a larger scale than we can do ourselves. But it's not just about what you do. And somebody's, well, you know, I pray for you. We're asking you pray for us.
Those that so we appreciate you sewing. But that's your side. But our side is also here. That's why we take time praying, fasting for the victory tribe, for every one of you that are a part of what God's doing in us.
It's not a one-way street. It's a two-way street. That's what partnership is. We keep, you know, here's what people don't realize is that we're so invested in you that when we're praying for you, you know, of course, people send in prayer requests.
There are times where we specifically ask for your prayer requests. But we're so invested in you that we're not just, you know, we've got these things written. We're focused on them. We're not just, you know, it's not in one or in another.
We're standing with you. Those of you that are partners with this ministry, if you've ever gotten a call from us, from our team, one of the things you might recognize and might know is that they may ask you, I don't care if it's three months later, they may ask you, you know, how's this going? Last time we spoke, you were believing for this, you were looking to get this job or you were believing to have a child or, you know, whatever it might be. You believe for your mother's healing.
And you say, there's people who are, I can't believe they remember that. It's because we're focused on making sure you know, as well, as we know, that we are in partnership together, that we are standing with you in faith. That's what's so powerful about partnership, about having people around you. That's why when things start to happen, we're shouting, we're dancing, we're praising, we're giving thanks.
The same way you are is because we're invested as you're invested. Think about that. We're invested as you're invested. That's why I tell people, you know, if you have an issue with a person, let's say there's a person that, you know, there are things that are trying to be stored up in your heart, bitterness, anger, whatever that might be.
If you start praying extensively for that person, one of the things you're going to find out, it's hard to stay bitter or angry at somebody that you're spending so much time praying for, because it causes you to be invested in their life. Here's a testimony in the comments from Maria up in Montreal. The money the government tried to extort from my husband and I through COVID finds was planted into good ground. Our house was paid off this year.
God deserves all the glory and his word stands true. Amen. Amen. Praise God.
Praise God. You didn't happen to you, but in a way it did happen to me. Think about that. For people to say, well, why would you get so excited about somebody else getting blessed?
It didn't happen to you, but in a way it did happen to me, because when you're in a covenant relationship with someone, when you are invested in somebody else's life, you get just as happy seeing them get blessed as when you get blessed. You know, I've made the, and we're coming up on Christmas. I've made the point before that when I was little, my father, I remember asking him one time, Dad, are you excited Christmas is coming? You're going to get your presence.
And my dad said, yeah, you know, I'm happy about it. He said, yeah, but I'm more excited to see you open your presence. And I used to think when I was little, that's crazy. How can you be more excited about watching me open my presence than getting your own presence?
But now as a father, I realize what he was saying, because even during our Christmas mornings, I'll be sitting in the chair cup of coffee and, you know, the kids will keep, this one's got your name on it. And my presence will stack up by the chair and I'm watching them tear into their presence. And it's giving me all the joy. I'm getting excited, watching my kids get blessed, then even taking the time to open my own gifts.
I like to see my kids get blessed. That's what it is when you're invested, when you're invested in somebody else's life. That's why it's powerful when we do things together. That's why the Victory Tribe is such a powerful group of people, because as we do things together, we're invested in the same vision, same goal moving forward.
And when we're invested together, it's amazing how much more you can do connected with brothers and sisters. The Bible says one will put a thousand to flight, two will put ten thousand. It's not an addition. It's a multiplication.
It's not an addition. It's a multiplication. What you're able to do when connected with others, it multiplies your impact. It multiplies your impact.
