She studied computer science in Bucharest, Romania, and moved to the United States to work in software development before shifting careers to professional writing. She now writes thrillers and speculative fiction.She has a master of fine arts in creative writing from Goddard College, and her work has been published in many fiction and nonfiction magazines.
