The Dream Chapter the Second - The Beginning of the Dream Parts 5 and 6

In which a young boy accompanies his father on Sunday walks over the Downs, learning from his father's thoughtful reflections on Providence, the instinct of creatures, and the curious and somber ways of human nature. The narrative then turns to the boy’s reluctant introduction to the gardening life in the neglected estate of Lord Bramble, where he encounters the peculiar social mores and harsh realities of a fading English aristocracy.
