The Dreamers Are Safe (for Now)

For now, the "dreamers" are safe thanks to the June 18 U.S. Supreme Court's rejection of the Trump administrations effort to scuttle the Obama administration program designed to protect from deportation the children of illegal immigrants who were brought to America when they were kids.In its ruling, which affects nearly 650,000 young immigrants across the nation, the court said Trump’s order ending the “dreamers” program was “arbitrary and capricious” and failed to take into consideration many key elements required by the Administrative Procedure Act.For more on what all of this means to the “dreamers” and their families, NFN Radio News spoke with prominent immigration attorney Donesia Lipinski.
