The Dull and Boring Prayer Life
from The Feisty Faith Podcast Hosted by Cassierajewich
When prayer feels dry, lifeless, or like it’s hitting the ceiling. Sometimes our prayer life just… loses its spark. We show up, say the words, and wonder if Heaven’s even listening. In this episode, Cassie sits with what she calls the dull and boring prayer life—the kind that deserves more than a passing glance. Because what’s really missing isn’t discipline or effort; it’s the holy fire of the Living God. Cassie shares what happens when disappointment, comparison, and spiritual warfare dull our edge, and how to find our way —or our way back —to the fire again. Scripture Mentioned: Hebrews 11:6 (MSG) — “He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (By faith Enoch pleased God… It’s impossible to please God apart from faith.) What you’ll hear in this episode: How disappointment and silence can quietly block faith The sneaky ways comparison shifts us from communion to competition How spiritual warfare numbs our hunger for God through distraction, fatigue, and accusation What it looks like to repent, rest, and reignite your prayer life through the Holy Spirit Why replenishment is warfare—and how aligning yourself with those on fire helps reignite your flame If this episode stirred something in you… Cassie walks alongside women who are ready to slow down, hear God clearly, and step confidently into what He’s called them to do. Through personal mentorship, prayer-centered strategy, and her faith-fueled digital resources, she helps you exchange hustle for holy alignment. 👉🏼 Explore ways to work with Cassie
