WORKERS RETREAT THEME: THE DUTIES OF A KINGDOM WORKER WITH A CLEAN HEART. TEXT: PSALM 51:10 INTRODUCTION ~ As long as you are in church we are Priests to our God. ~ For whatever sacrifice you do, It is a blessing to you only if you do it with a clean heart. ~ Until God opens your eyes of understanding you can never know your mandate from God. WHAT IS A KINGDOM WORKER? A kingdom worker is a born again Christian or a believer commissioned to a mandate or the mantle of great commission. ✓ Every call comes with a mandate. ~ Mandate differs from person to person. It is given specially to a person. Mandate from God can be an apostle in the church, carry out administrative duties, singing in the choir e.t.c. ~ Mandate is a specific instruction given to you when HE calls you ~ Whereas commission is a general gift just as the Disciples of Christ were given the "GREAT COMMISSION". ~ When you are working on your mandate with a clean heart, you are working towards your mantle because mantle is the gift given to all believers. ✓ Mantle is the spirit working behind your mandate. ~ As a worker, avoid destroying other workers with your mouth allow them to function with the unction God has given to them. DUTIES OF A PRIEST ~ As a priest, you must be a carrier of his presence ~ Also, you must stand before the LORD. ~ Ministering to the LORD is necessary because when you minister to the LORD, the LORD gives you what to minister to the people ( ACT 13:2). ~ As a priest( Worker), you must learn to bless your fellow workers. ~ As a priest you must be a custodian of knowledge. ~ You must function in the ministry of Reconciliation. i.e you must ✓ lead one to Christ. ✓ preach the word of God to everyone. ✓ point out every offense committed by your fellow worker. ~ As a priest you are to be an intercessor. ~ A priest should be offering sacrifice.
