Discworld 27 - The Last Hero by Terry Pratchett (Full Audiobook) Terry Pratchett The Last Hero is a short novel, the twenty-seventh of the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. It was published in 2001 in a larger format than the other Discworld novels and illustrated on every page by Paul Kidby. In that respect it is much different from Pratchett's other novels as Kidby's pictures play as large a part in contributing to the novel in puns, word plays and Round World references as do Pratchett's words. Buffer to Recover Therese Diaz Buffer, a noun which means “something that serves as a protective barrier,” is a word that best describes the evident hesitation of the Filipino public to be inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccines as the Philippine administration has begun executing their plans for the country’s immunization. In Buffer to Recover, young individuals delve into a conversation on vaccine hesitancy and share educated insights on the issue concerning national health and recovery. (Note: This podcast is a UCSP course project made by the members of Team 1 from Grade 11- Our Lady of Guadalupe.) Cross Connection Music Is The Soundtrack Of Our Lives! Each week on "Cross Connection" we play a secular song from the 60's & 70's that has either Christian lyrics or principles directly related to the Scriptures. We then discuss the author and/or artist(s) and the song.We look into the lyrics of each song - relating it to the time in which it was originally played on the radio and what, if any, meaning it has today. We make a "Cross Connection" to each song and relate the lyrics to the "timeless" principles taught in God's word. At times, we part theological company with those who might use their talents in music to deny God's word. We always do our best to point that out on the program. In all, we hold true to the Word without compromise! We do not attempt to judge or promote the lifestyle of any artist we feature but rather look at their work and use the songs to share God's love. Our hosts each week are Mick Wells and Pastor Rick Smith. Our format is very laid back and has been described as’ two Theology Central Various Speakers The goal of this podcast is to make theology the focal point of every discussion. It is designed to challenge you to think about what the Word of God says and how that applies to every aspect of the Christian life. There will be episodes on news commentary, sermon reviews, guided Bible studies, devotional messages, and everything in between.
