The ‘dynamic’ change in the political landscape over the past decade, The 'whack-a-mole' approach to battling drug trade, & the Youth Singers of Calgary

WELCOME TO THE MWSA PODCAST FOR WEDNESDAY, DEC. 4TH   New polling from ‘Abacus Data’ shows that in the 2015 election, Millennial support for Justin Trudeau ‘propelled’ the Liberal Party into power. But - nearly ten years later - the Liberals have trailed in the polls and previous supporters have had a change of heart. We take a look at the ‘dynamic’ change in the political landscape over the past decade – with Lori Williams, Political Scientist from Mount Royal University. Next - a former member of the RCMP who has investigated transnational crime says President Elect Donald Trump’s tariff threat – attached to securing our borders - shines a spotlight on what he calls the “whack-a-mole” approach to battling the drug trade in Canada. We tackle the topic with Calvin Chrustie – a former RCMP Officer and Critical Risk Consultant. And finally – are you having trouble getting into the ‘holiday spirit’? If that’s the case – help is on the way! We hear details on this year’s ‘festive’ production from the ‘Youth Singers of Calgary’ – called “Santa’s Holiday Sleighlist” – from the Brianna Rudolfsen, Production Manager from the ‘Youth Singers’.
