Tearing Down the Food Idol- The S.R.E.S. Approach Brook Legg This is a scripture based food addiction coaching program that is designed to help you tear down the idol of food addiction, disordered eating, and body obsession and replace it with truths from God’s Word. S.R.E.S. stands for Submit, Resist, and Eat Sufficiently. This coaching program is centered around the scriptures found in John 4: 7-10. I am not a doctor or therapist, this is designed for scripture based instruction only. Please consult your doctor or therapist before making any changes to your diet or therapy. The Power of Words Letitia Elizabeth Landon Letitia Elizabeth Landon was an English poet and novelist, better known by her initials L. E. L. Life of George Washington in Words of One Syllable by Josephine Pollard Loyal Books The Life story of a public man cannot help being to some extent the same thing as a history of the times in which he lived, and to the case of none does this remark apply with more force than to that of the "Father of his Country;" which very title shows the degree to which the personality of its bearer became identified with the public life of the nation. While a great deal of the space in this book, consequently, has had to be devoted to American Revolutionary History, it is hoped that excess in this direction has been avoided, and that the main purpose of the work will be attained, i.e. to give its young readers a distinct and vivid idea of the exalted character and priceless services of Washington, so far as these can be brought within the understanding of a child. Camper by E. Pauline Johnson Loyal Books It is eminently fitting that this daughter of Nature should have been laid to rest in no urban cemetery. According to her own request she was buried in Stanley Park, Vancouver's beautiful heritage of the forest primeval. A simple stone surrounded by rustic palings marks her grave and on this stone is carved the one word "Pauline." There she lies among ferns and wild flowers a short distance from Siwash Rock, the story of which she has recorded in the legends of her race. In time to come a pathway to her grave will be worn by lovers of Canadian poetry who will regard it as one of the most romantic of our literary shrines.
