The Earthquake Killer and What Did Time Travel Have To Do With Anna Repkina's Death? - Episode 39
from Middle-Aged and Mediocre · host Middle-Aged and Mediocre
You get a twofer of murder in today's episode! First up, we have the story of Herbert William Mullin, The Earthquake Killer, who wanted to prevent the deaths of many by seeing to the death of a few, and he actually, maybe, kind of was onto something with this theory? It's an interesting story about a killing spree that took a lot of twists and turns. We'll follow that story up with the story of Anna Repkina, a young Russian woman who moved to America after getting engaged to a fella in Oregon. Unfortunately for Anna, packing up her old life in Russia to start a new one in America does not end up going down as another storybook romance. Also in this episode, we get a couple of Joel's Feel Goods, we talk about Wall Street getting gut punched by Reddit, and we'll talk about how kids can be real assholes sometimes.
