The Easy Yoke

Discipleship Series | Week 4 | In this sermon, Darrell invites us to take up the offer of Jesus to trade in our heavy burdens for a new yoke that He offers and assures us is easy. We are weary because we wear yokes of lust, anger, revenge, and envy. Why is the yoke Jesus offers easy? Because his yoke is his relationship with the Father - to please the Father. The yoke he offers us is one that has been designed just for us. And we don’t wear it alone - Jesus binds himself to us. He says, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest” New Course on Genesis: https://darrell-johnson-courses.thinkific.com/courses/genesis-1-11-the-story-that-makes-sense-of-our-stories Summer Intensives with The Way College: https://www.thewaychurch.ca/events/summer-intensives-parables-of-jesus-contemporary-worldview-apologetics The Bible Course: https://biblesociety.ca/thebiblecourse/ Darrell's Books: www.darrelljohnson.ca/books Give to the ministry of Darrell Johnson: www.darrelljohnson.ca/donate Mailing List | www.darrelljohnson.ca/#subscribe-form Website | darrelljohnson.ca YouTube | youtube.com/darrelljohnson
