The Ecclesia
from Apostle Fredrick Kaluluma Hosted by The City of the Lord Church
In this sermon, Apostle Fredrick Kaluluma takes time to teach on the Ecclesia, beginning with a definition of the word and then exploring what it means to be the Church and to live as believers within it. The message emphasises the importance of gathering together as believers, embracing Kingdom culture, understanding the role of a pastor within the Church, recognising the authority of the Church, and intentionally building genuine community among believers. Other key teachings include the importance of good works following salvation, what it means for the Church to offer up incense before God, and how we, as believers, are called to showcase God’s wisdom to creation. This message is anchored in Scripture, with passages including Galatians 3:1, Revelation 1:1, Hebrews 13:17, Isaiah 30:20, Matthew 16:16–19, 1 Peter 2:5, Ephesians 3:8–10, and 1 Peter 5:2. Whether you are new to the faith or have been walking with Christ for years, this sermon offers a timely invitation to understand the Church more deeply, embrace the community God has placed around you, and recognise the significant role the Ecclesia is called to play in God’s purposes.
