The Economy in Trucking. A year ago, small trucking companies were begging to buy trucks. The demand was so high, the dealerships were marking up semi's $30,000 to $40,000. It was disgusting but if you wanted a truck, you were going to pay. Troy was constantly saying, wait till the economy flips and you will see allot of repo's.
