The Economy Today - What You Need to Know & Planning for the Uncertain Future

Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast, this is your host of course, AJ Osborne!    Well if you’ve been paying attention to the economy at all… things look a bit… questionable let’s say. Inflation just keeps going up and up. Government spending keeps going up and up. Interest rates are going up and up in an ever weakening economy. Despite higher interest rates, housing prices have stayed higher than ever due to demand.    All said and done, and as you might imagine, this isn’t a great recipe. Even still, this should honestly be expected.    One of the huge problems we see over and over again in our economy is individuals, investors, firms, and so forth expecting only good times. This is especially the case for those who didn’t go through the Great Recession of 2008.    It can’t be stressed enough - we should ALWAYS be planning for the downturns, the dips, the recessions. None of us have a crystal ball, therefore, we should err on the side of caution and plan accordingly.    This is what I’m going to talk about on today’s podcast. I want to help share the things we all need to be thinking about when it comes to our personal finance and investments. I want to help ensure that you have the insights to help you make the best financial and business decisions you can. You can’t bank on sunshine and rainbows.
