The Edmonton Oilers beat the Seattle Kraken + Louie DeBrusk

The Edmonton Oilers pulled off a gutsy 5-4 win over the Seattle Kraken on Saturday night, despite being without Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. It was Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' night, as he stepped up in a massive way, scoring a hat trick in his new role as the first-line center. With the team missing their two biggest stars, other depth players rose to the occasion, including Adam Henrique, who opened the scoring on the power play, and Jeff Skinner, who continued his hot streak by finding the back of the net once again.In goal, Stuart Skinner held his own, making 27 saves on 31 shots to pick up his 24th win of the season. The Oilers controlled most of the game but had to withstand a late push from the Kraken to secure the victory.
