The Effects of Playing With Other People's Emotions

To play with emotions is when someone intentionally or irresponsibly takes another person’s feelings of love, affection, or trust seriously and uses them for their own personal gain. The result is often heartbreak, loss of trust, and deep emotional wounds. In short, to play with emotions is to use a person’s heart without respect, honesty, or responsibility. Human emotions are no small thing. God created us with sensitive hearts. When we play with someone’s emotions, we are irresponsibly playing with a very precious part of their being.
