THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE (2000) Is An Underrated Disney Gem! | Movie Reaction | First Time Watch

The CinePals crew is back as Brandon and Cortney sit down for a first-time reaction to Disney’s 2000 animated cult classic comedy about a selfish, young emperor who gets accidentally transformed into a llama by his power-hungry advisor and her hilariously dense henchman. Forced to rely on a good-hearted peasant villager to find his way back home and regain his human form, this buddy-comedy stands out as one of the funniest, most fast-paced, and endlessly quotable entries in the entire Disney animation canon. This beloved animated feature was directed by Mark Dindin (Chicken Little, Cats Don't Dance, The Garfields Movie), from a screenplay by David Reynolds (Finding Nemo, Mulan, Toy Story 2, A Bug's Life). The unforgettable voice cast features David Spade (Grown Ups, Tommy Boy, Joe Dirt, Rules of Engagement, Saturday Night Live), John Goodman (Monsters Inc, The Big Lebowski, Roseanne, The Righteous Gemstones, 10 Cloverfield Lane), Eartha Kitt (Batman 1966, Holes, Boomerang, The Jungle Book 2), and Patrick Warburton (Family Guy, Seinfeld, The Tick, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Rules of Engagement).
