from Beyond UWA · host UWA Alumni Voices

Experienced Business Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the FMCG, retail and services industries. Leonnie Dober's passion is quite simple, she wants to make sure team members are represented and heard within organisations.  Coming from a working class family where her mother had blue collar roles (cleaning, fruit picking), her voice was one of thousands and not always heard as an individual.  Leonnie want's to make sure she leave's a legacy where she can stand up for those voices, and make sure we are all doing the right things for the right reasons. Words of wisdom You may not know exactly what you want or where you want to be in life, but trust the journey, say ‘yes’ to opportunities that make you nervous and keep going even when you want to quit.
