That's a Good Word is a podcast designed to assist and equip Christians through advice from people in ministry. | Dr. Don Wilton joins us for the sixteenth episode | Dr. Don Wilton served as senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg from 1993 until December of 2022. He also served as president of The Encouraging Word television ministry. Dr. Wilton has authored many books, most famously "Saturdays with Billy," where Dr. Wilton details his friendship with Dr. Billy Graham. Dr. Wilton also served as president of the South Carolina Baptist Convention. He is very involved with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, and the Billy Graham Schools of Evangelism. Dr. Wilton is also a professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In this episode we discuss his friendship with Dr. Billy Graham, how Christians can feel encouraged into today's culture, and the importance of looking unto Jesus at all times.
