Pastor shares another current element of end times. He discussed Australian concentration camps and graphite. In the end times, persecution will be normal. Believers will be public enemy #1. Our survival is not the fundamental goal, but rather is that God is glorified. Do you carry yourself in a way that God is glorified even while being maltreated by the wolrd? This world is not our home and the things of the world is not the meaning of our lives. We have a wounderful purpose and identity other than what we own and our standing in the world. Job suffered yet Satan was silenced in heaven and God was glorified. We must walk in righteousness if we expect God to be glorified by anything that we do. If the end times is at hand, then that means the Day of Atonement (time of judgement) is also at hand. The beginning of judgement starts with the house of God. If we (the believers/the righteous) live as if we are scarcely saved, what about the sinners/unbelievers? God is going to be our judge with the evaluation of the Christian's life. What is driving your decision making? Jesus' atonement is my only hope. Jesus suffered for righteousness' sake. Our "rights" make us uncomfortable suffering for righteousness rather than deserved punishment for wrong. Most of our activities will burn up as chaff. Those perpetrating suffering upon you are in a condition of dispair. They are living out their condition and it is silly for us to expect them to live and be good. We have dimmed our lantern so that God's standard is barely visible.
