The End of the World

Many expect Christ's return to mean the world will disappear, but Peter says the earth and its works will be exposed. Fire brings judgement on the unrepentant and cleanses creation rather than wiping it out. Creation is not disposable. Believers meet Christ in the air to welcome Him back to a renewed earth.
