These last seven years mark the end-time period. At its midpoint, the Antichrist breaks the covenant, stops the sacrifice, and ushers Israel into the Great Tribulation. The final three and a half years—also described as 1,260 days, 42 months, or time, times, and half a time—represent the Great Tribulation, culminating in the return of Christ.
