The Enduring Mercy of YHWH | 3650 Minutes of Prayer

from Psalms23Wave · host Mathew Sekanjako

This is Day Thirty-One of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. Today, we meditate on the anchor of our existence: the enduring mercy of YHWH. As we close this month and look toward the horizon of February, we stand as witnesses to the truth that we are what we are only because of His steadfast love. We find our rhythm in the chorus of Psalm 136, where every act of creation and every victory of deliverance is punctuated by the eternal decree that His mercy endures forever. We recognize that mercy is not merely the withholding of judgment, but the active, loyal kindness of a Father who refuses to let go of His children. As we transition into this next season, we decree and declare that the month of February will be a dwelling place for God’s presence. We speak a blessing over every day to come—a mandate of peace, a shield of favor, and a constant awareness of the Spirit. We move forward not in our own strength, but carried by the mercy that has brought us this far and the peace that marks our future. We now yield to this presence in prayer. We open our hearts to the immersion of the Father’s kindness, asking for a fresh revelation of His unfailing love. Let us position ourselves as recipients of His goodness, decreeing that His presence will go before us and His mercy will follow us all the days of our lives.Prayer & Revelation Scriptures (NKJV)Psalm 136:1-3, 23-26“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever... Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever; And rescued us from our enemies, For His mercy endures forever; Who gives food to all flesh, For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever.”Lamentations 3:22–23“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”Numbers 6:24–26“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”Exodus 33:14–15“And He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’ Then he said to Him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.’”Psalm 23:6“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”There is One true God, the Creator of all things, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is One God and One Spirit Who has redeemed us all. I am Mathew Sekanjako, a believer in Christ Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach), the one Son of God. I serve and confess God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This intercession is offered in faith, in obedience, and in love, for all who will listen.
