Send us Fan MailThe Eriksson twins, Ursula and Sabina Eriksson, are Swedish identical twins who became internationally known after a disturbing 2008 incident in England that was partly filmed for the BBC series Motorway Cops. After being removed from a coach on the M6 motorway, both women suddenly ran into high-speed traffic and were struck by vehicles yet survived, astonishing onlookers by standing up and continuing to behave erratically. Authorities reported that the twins appeared paranoid and delusional, allegedly believing people were trying to harm them, and the case was later widely described as an example of shared psychosis, or folie à deux. Shortly after being released from police custody, Sabina fatally stabbed a man in Staffordshire and was later convicted of manslaughter following psychiatric evaluation, while Ursula recovered after hospitalization, making the case one of the most unsettling and widely discussed modern examples of shared delusional disorder. Support the showThank you for listening.
