Welcome to the third instalment of the Essence of Anarchy series. In this episode we’ll be asking whether we should take consent as a foundational good, requiring no further justification? Some of you may answer ‘yes’—and think such a thing is self-evident. Others may not be convinced, seeing this position as idealistic. We must acknowledge that such a belief in consent is clearly far from universal.
