The Eternal Love of God

"God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life," John 3:16.We welcome you today to our study of the wonderful love of our God. One of the most wonderful subjects in all of scripture is how much God loves me and how much God loves you. That what many people think of as the golden verse in the Bible illustrates it so well. ‘God so loved he gave His only son.’ Paul would later say it this way in Romans 5:6-8, "Why we were still without strength, in due time, or at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man would one die, yet perhaps for a good man someone might dare to die, but God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." We can say like the apostle John, who said in 1 John 3:1, "Behold, look what matter of love the father has bestowed upon us that we can be called children of God."
