The Eternaut S1 - Oneshot

David and Anthony dive deep into Netflix's The Eternaut, analyzing how the Argentine series masterfully combines five different genre elements - disaster movie, post-apocalyptic survival, alien invasion, body snatchers horror, and hints of time travel - into one cohesive narrative. They explore the show's political allegory rooted in Argentina's "Dirty War" period, its emphasis on collective action over rugged individualism, and how it successfully updates a beloved 1957 graphic novel while maintaining authentic performances and tight storytelling. The discussion includes comparisons to Station Eleven, analysis of the show's cultural transmission themes, and speculation about Season 2's direction.
