The Ethics of Autonomous Systems

We tend to believe that technology is not neutral, but this is not the case. Every algorithm, every piece of decision logic, every heuristic, is developed by humans with their own opinions, biases, and beliefs. We as software developers, whether consciously or unconsciously, embed our values into the technology and software we create.
