MATRYCS is an EU-funded project that focuses on seven objectives, divided into three categories: Scientific, Technological and Business. Francesco explains that the main goal of the projects "is to use machine learning, data and artificial intelligence to understand how to save energy in a building". In other words, the project focuses on energy saving, while "at the same time we are trying to develop a cloud-based data analytics toolbox".
