The Exorcist III

This week, the Nobodies kick off a celebratory summer of sequels or RANTquels. The first film in this new LIMITED series is The Exorcist III. When the Exorcist 2: The Heretic was a monumental disappointment, the studio went back to the well and created a direct sequel to the first film, that ignored entirely the existence of the follow up.  In The Exorcist III, Pazuzu is back, but this time may have bonded with the soul of a serial killer, and then possessed father Karras, but is in a mental ward at a hospital, but can also possess other people to do his killing??? It's worth it for Brad Dourif, alone, but this sequel boasts a lot more than that, including one of the greatest jump scares of all time.
