The F Word, Not Supposed to Say It, But Everyone Does
from Failing Up · host Timothy Mahar
The F word is one of the few words in the English language that is identified by just the letter. This word at one time was considered so vulgar that it was not uttered in public.Yet, now it is a part of our regular vernacular, in some circles the second most viable word after, "the". It is used as an adjective, verb, and noun. It is an exclamation point that places the ultimate value to an event, our anger, a lost item, and release of pain. I don't have proof, but it is my guess it has been uttered often before death, not a good choice. It is common place in the store, on the road, at events, graduations, church, you name it! Yet, the origin of this word cannot be agreed upon, WTF?? timothymahar.org
