The Facebook Detectives

Three Texas housewives, Tammye Markle, Joni Shannon and Tina Wiley, used the internet to try to find their friend Lisa Stone, who disappeared from her Dallas home in June 2010. The four women kept in touch with each other via Facebook, but her friends became worried when she abruptly stopped posting. One evening Joni noticed Sherry Henry, Lisa's former partner, throw Lisa's belongings into a dumpster. The police confronted Sherry, who insisted that she did not know where Lisa was. Homicide detective Jim Gallagher believes that Lisa Stone is dead. “48 Hours" correspondent Maureen Maher reports. This classic "48 Hours" episode last aired on 6/5/2012.
